The Climtec device is installed in the wall of the house that connects the ventilated space to the outside. A diamond drill is used to drill a precise hole in the wall without damaging the interior or exterior finishes. The heat revocery unit is inserted and the power supply and control are connected.

The unit removes the "exhaled" air from the room through an aluminum heat exchanger while filling the room with fresh and clean air from outside. The device heats the air coming in from outside in cold weather and cools the air in warm weather. The air flows in and out at the same time, but the two air streams do not mix because they move through separate ducts. Climtec thus achieves energy recovery efficiencies of up to 87%. The air flows can be completely shut off if required. A valve designed to seal off the air flows prevents wind, draughts and noise from outside and prevents the heat recovery system from freezing at very low temperatures.

The heat exchanger in the device is aluminum, non-oxidising, non-respiratory and operates over a wide temperature range, while the oxide film prevents the growth of fungi and foam-reactive bacteria. The unique shape of the motor wings (12-16 blades) doubles the operating efficiency. G3, G4 or carbon filters trap dust, exhaust gases and unpleasant odors. The unit has the lowest noise level on the market.

The unit has a stationary control or remote control.
