Collection: Centralised Heat recovery systems
Centralised heat recovery systems are installed to control temperature and air quality throughout the building. These systems are usually found in larger buildings such as offices, hotels and large apartment blocks. A centralised system includes a central air handling unit, including heating and cooling equipment, and an overhead network to distribute air throughout the building.
Compared to decentralised units, centralised systems require much more investment and labour to install and are more expensive to maintain, as regular maintenance is required not only for the equipment itself, but also to keep the ducts clean.
