Description

Valsir ARIOSA DOT E is a dual flow wall-mounted heat recovery ventilation unit for single room applications in residential buildings, small offices, studios, etc. It is a plug and play solution that does not require a distribution duct system, only two wall openings and an electrical connection. ARIOSA DOT E is designed for renovation projects or spaces where a central HRV system cannot be installed, but where balanced ventilation and comfort still matter.

The unit delivers up to 100 m³/h of balanced air exchange and is typically suitable for rooms or small apartments up to around 70 m². It has four fan speeds (Night, Minimum, Medium and Maximum) so the airflow can be adjusted to occupancy and time of day.

ARIOSA DOT E is equipped with a counterflow enthalpic heat exchanger, which recovers heat and transfers part of the humidity from the extracted air back to the incoming fresh air. This helps reduce the typical dryness that can occur during the heating season and improves indoor comfort compared to sensible only heat recovery.

Energy efficiency and moisture recovery

The enthalpic heat exchanger transfers heat and a portion of water vapour from the exhaust air stream to the supply air stream. The unit has a declared dry thermal efficiency of up to 78% and an efficiency of humidity transfer up to 60%. This combination supports energy saving ventilation while maintaining a more stable indoor humidity level in well insulated homes.

Air filtration and indoor comfort

ARIOSA DOT E is equipped with two high performance filters as standard: an ISO Coarse >65% filter on the extract air and an ISO ePM1 >50% (ex F7) filter on the supply air. These filters help reduce dust, pollen, smog and fine particulates (PM10, PM2.5 and PM1), improving indoor air quality in everyday living spaces. The filters are accessible through independent cap type doors for simple inspection and replacement.

Controls and connectivity

The unit includes an electronic control system with onboard temperature and relative humidity probes for demand based ventilation and comfort functions such as free-cooling and free-heating management. A remote LCD control panel allows configuration of fan speeds, operating modes and programmes. Built in Wi-Fi enables remote control via the Valsir HRV App, while a Modbus interface supports integration with home automation or BMS systems.

Installation and applications

ARIOSA DOT E is designed for indoor wall-mounting along a perimeter wall and can be installed under a window thanks to its slim profile. Installation requires two 125 mm wall openings for intake and exhaust air ducts and a condensate drain connection either to the outside or to a nearby drainage point. One unit is typically sufficient for a one or two room apartment or a small office, while larger dwellings can use multiple units in different rooms.
