Description

Valsir ARIOSA HV Enthalpic LITE is a simplified version of the ARIOSA HV Enthalpic central heat recovery ventilation unit for residential buildings where both heat and humidity recovery are important, but advanced automation is not required. It uses the same enthalpic counterflow heat exchanger, casing and EC motors as the full Enthalpic version, providing identical airflow and efficiency with a reduced control and sensor package. This makes the LITE version a cost effective choice for homes that need reliable balanced ventilation and humidity comfort with straightforward operation.

The unit can be installed horizontally in a false ceiling or vertically on the wall and is available in three airflow sizes (170, 250 and 330 m³/h), covering living spaces up to approximately 185 m² depending on the chosen model and layout. The enthalpic heat exchanger recovers sensible heat and part of the moisture from the extracted air while the EC brushless motors with constant airflow control and compact EPP casing with optimised air paths ensure quiet operation, low pressure drops and easy handling on site.

Energy efficiency

The enthalpic counterflow heat exchanger transfers heat and a portion of the water vapour from the exhaust air stream to the incoming fresh air. This reduces heating demand during the winter season and can also limit cooling loads in mid season conditions. Since the Enthalpic LITE version shares the same mechanical components as the full Enthalpic range, it maintains the same high dry heat recovery efficiency, humidity recovery performance and low specific fan power, delivering long term energy savings in residential applications.

Indoor air quality and humidity control

ARIOSA HV Enthalpic LITE provides continuous filtered airflow through supply and extract ducts, diluting CO₂, odours and indoor pollutants while controlling excessive humidity. The enthalpic heat exchanger helps to stabilise indoor relative humidity by partially transferring moisture back to the supply air instead of removing it completely with condensate. This is particularly beneficial in well insulated homes where the air can otherwise become uncomfortably dry during the heating season. The filtration system is designed to reduce dust, smog, pollen and other airborne particles that would otherwise enter the building.

Controls and automation

The Enthalpic LITE version is equipped with two onboard probes for basic monitoring and a simplified analog control panel without an LCD display. The panel offers physical buttons for essential configuration and operating mode selection but does not provide advanced menus, time scheduling or detailed status visualisation. In the LITE version there is no WiFi connectivity and no Modbus interface, so the unit cannot be integrated with home automation or BMS systems and cannot be controlled via the Valsir App. This configuration is ideal where simple stand alone operation and lower investment costs are a priority.
